Julieann is a teacher, author and artist who is continually inspired by the gift of imagination and the power of words.

She is a self-confessed tea ninja and papercut survivor, Cadbury chocoholic, has a passion for music and art,

and tries not to scare her cat, Claude Monet, or her dog, Pablo Picasso, with her terrible cello playing.

In 2025, she is the subject for the Brisbane Portrait Prize, painted by Denise Cross.
